Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining that is still often considered a common condition in the general population. Chronic gastritis can lead to complications and even death. One contributing risk factor is the pattern of caffeinated beverage consumption. This study aims to identify the association between patterns of caffeinated beverage consumption and the incidence of gastritis among patients in the service area of the Jenggawah Community Health Center. This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of adult patients within the service area of the Jenggawah Community Health Center, with a sample size of 52 respondents. Sampling was conducted using non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank test. The results indicate a significant association between caffeine-containing beverage consumption patterns and the incidence of gastritis, with a P-value of 0.001. This implies that the higher the consumption of caffeine-containing beverages, the more severe the gastritis experienced by the respondents. The conclusion of this study is that there is an association between caffeine consumption patterns and the incidence of gastritis among patients in the service area of the Jenggawah Community Health Center. The recommended interventions identified in this study include promotive and preventive measures through health education to control caffeine consumption patterns as a means of reducing the risk of gastritis in the community.
