Diet plays a crucial role in supporting cognitive development and academic performance, especially during adolescence when growth is rapid. This study aims to analyze the relationship between diet and student achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Sumedang. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational design, this study involved 258 eighth and ninth grade students selected through proportional stratified random sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) to assess eating habits and documentation of the last semester's report card grades to measure academic achievement. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant and positive relationship between dietary patterns and academic achievement (p=0.000; r=0.517). A correlation coefficient of 0.517 indicates a moderate strength of relationship, where the better the quality of students' dietary patterns, the higher their academic achievement. These findings conclude that adequate nutritional intake is an important factor in supporting the academic success of adolescents. The implications of this study emphasize the need for school-based nutritional intervention programs and education for parents to ensure balanced nutrition for students in order to optimize learning achievement
