Analisis Proses Pengembangan Moodle Berdasarkan Riwayat Commit GIT Menggunakan Pendekatan (MSR)

Isi abstrak harus merangkum ringkasan ruang lingkup, tujuan, metode, data, hasil dan kesimpulan utama dari tulisan. Pengembangan perangkat lunak sumber terbuka skala besar seperti Moodle memerlukan mekanisme kontrol kualitas yang ketat untuk menjaga stabilitas sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pengembangan Moodle versi 5.2dev dengan memanfaatkan teknik Mining Software Repository (MSR). Menggunakan library PyDriller pada bahasa pemrograman Python, sebanyak 500 riwayat commit terbaru diekstraksi untuk diidentifikasi pola kontribusinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas didominasi oleh fitur baru (50,8%) dan proses penggabungan kode (merge) sebesar 40,2%. Tingginya persentase merge membuktikan adanya peran gatekeeping yang kuat oleh pengembang inti dalam memvalidasi setiap perubahan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran objektif mengenai struktur kolaborasi pengembang dan modul-modul kritis yang sedang menjadi fokus pengembangan terkini.
